Last Thursday, October 10, 2019, we spent an exciting day all about quality management in Salzburg, Austria. Together with our partners, Babtec users as well as interested parties, we highlighted various current aspects of modern quality work in a productive atmosphere.
More than 60 visitors from Southern Germany and Austria attended the first Q.Event of the autumn series last Thursday. Our users and other interested parties from a wide variety of production sectors came together for one day to concentrate fully on the key issue: the optimized quality of products.
The venue was a huge, heated VIP tent of the Red Bull Arena in Salzburg. In addition to delicious food, the victory venue of the "red bulls" offered us the opportunity to listen to interesting lectures and to get into conversation with each other.
Stefan Palmetzhofer, deputy head of Babtec Austria, opened the event. After his warm welcome, the partner companies briefly introduced themselves to our visitors and were available as contact persons throughout the day.
The first lecture of the day followed: "Quality of the Future - Change as Opportunity". With Andreas Reisenhofer, lead engineer and head of quality management at LEAN MC, we gained exciting insights into the topics that we already have to tackle today in order to keep pace with the requirements of the professional quality management of tomorrow.
Andreas Felber, Head of Quality at MAGNA STEYR Fuel Systems and Babtec user, took us from theory to practice, demonstrating with concrete examples how his company controls and optimizes internal quality processes with the BabtecQ software.
Our agenda was enriched by informative presentations on Babtec-News. Florian Kondziela, senior product manager for many years and an absolute expert in quality management, told us about the exciting product highlights of the software manufacturer this autumn and presented Release 7, a “big rock” of the quality management year.
Inspired by the fresh and interesting input, there was plenty of opportunity for discussions with the quality specialists on site and with the industry colleagues present while enjoying a traditional apple strudel. Especially the intensive exchange with like-minded quality enthusiasts is always perceived as one of the highlights of our quality management platforms: talking to each other – learning from each other.
As an icing on the cake, our visitors were able to get to know the venue even better on a guided tour of the Red Bull Arena. In two groups we went through the home stadium of the Bundesliga team FC Red Bull Salzburg. If this isn't a culmination for quality champions!
