Improving the Quality of Life

As a successful company, we are aware of our social responsibility. We are therefore very active right in our local area and are pleased to support several social initiatives and charitable projects. Our guiding principle here is to improve the quality of daily life. We like to dedicate ourselves especially to our favorite issues: education, exercise and youth development.

Quality and Life

Children in orange t-shirts enjoy learning fun packs

The social initiative founded by Babtec employees in 2011 focuses entirely on the little computer experts of tomorrow. The “Quality and Life” registered association regularly provides nursery schools, kindergartens and elementary schools with educational fun packages. The technical equipment and software contained in the packages support playful interaction with the German language as well as a gentle introduction to the world of computing and information technology. The initiative is active in the three German cities where Babtec has its offices (Wuppertal, Villingen-Schwenningen and Dresden). Speaking of Babtec: We are proud to have been a main sponsor from the beginning and to support the association with time and donations.

Wuppervital e.V.

The “Wuppervital” registered association is aimed at all Wuppertal residents who want to exercise more but up to now have not found the right motivation. What’s offered: People meet in small groups to walk, jog or run, depending on their fitness level. These group offerings start right at our doorstep, at the “Babtec Vital Point”, Loher Bahnhof, directly on the Wuppertal Nordbahntrasse. In addition, the program also includes calisthenics units, hikes to interesting destinations in the region and sports and games activities for kids with immigrant backgrounds. We think the initiative is really great. Babtec has therefore supported the association since its founding in 2016 as a sponsor right from the start – for more quality of life!

GreenLion Racing

Green Lion Racing

Students from a number of different fields of study at the University of Wuppertal join together on the GreenLion Racing Team to pursue a common dream: to take part in the international Formula Student Race (at the Hockenheimring) with a race car that they designed and built themselves. Excellent technical know-how, teamwork and interdisciplinary collaboration as well as quality assurance all play a decisive role here. Since we identify closely with these buzzwords and because the work of the young men and women is really impressive, we are pleased to support Team Wuppertal as a sponsor year after year.
