Michael Flunkert (on the right)

Michael Flunkert, born in 1962, studied business administration at Düsseldorf Technical College before founding Flunkert System Service in 1984. Babtec Informationssysteme GmbH then emerged in 1994 from this software company, which was involved in developing IT tools for the quality assurance sector. Managing Director Flunkert is in charge of the Product Development and Administration departments.

Waios Kastanis (on the left)

Waios Kastanis, born in 1963, started his career in 1987 in the sales department at Ikoss GmbH, a subsidiary of Thyssen AG. Only two years later, he took charge of the Wuppertal branch office of softmetal GmbH, a member of the Thyssen Group. In 1991, Kastanis left to become manager of strässle Informationssysteme GmbH, an ERP company based in Stuttgart. Kastanis has been a shareholder and Managing Director of Babtec Informationssysteme GmbH since 1994, and is responsible for the Marketing, Sales and Technology departments.
