How did Babtec get its name?
Alongside Blaise Pascal, Charles Babbage was one of the founding fathers of computer technology. Unlike Pascal, however, no programming language has been named after him.
As an homage to his life's work, our company is called Babtec Informationssysteme GmbH, which is derived from the name of this early genius in the history of computing.
