Initial sample inspections based on the product characteristics specified in the drawing are performed for the assessment of the products and documented using an initial sample inspection report. You can revert to CAD drawings (Babtec CADI), characteristics information in the Q-DAS format as well as existing part approval processes or inspection plans to conveniently import characteristics. The automatic adoption of measurements guarantees a quick and correct identification of failures and, therefore, the adherence of agreements between suppliers and customers. Any decisions made are visualized using the proven traffic light colors.

The complete integration of Babtec CAQ allows the fast and simple assembly of all documents from other modules required for the part approval process. In a part approval process, use direct referencing to process FMEAs, control plans, gage, process or machine capability studies. In addition, use the opportunity of storing external documents and proofs for the approval process in the Babtec CAQ database or link to the respective file. Versioning of the documents assists you in retracing different processing statuses.
