CAD Integration with Babtec CADI

Use Drawing Information for Your Quality Assurance

Drawing information represents an essential component for the planning of quality inspections and can be processed directly by Babtec CAQ. With the click of a button, you convert product characteristics and specifications from drawings into quality-relevant characteristics. If the drawings are available in a standardized CAD exchange format, then the characteristics can be generated directly from the drawing data with characteristic name, drawing specification and the upper and lower specification limit.

The CAD integration contributes significantly to the reduction of effort particularly when creating initial sample inspection reports. With automatic or manual stamping of the drawing, you can uniquely identify characteristics. To support the inspection process, the position in the drawing is displayed for each characteristic – thereby ensuring transparency and uniqueness.
